Accounting Specialist

The Administration Team is looking for a new talent to join! 

Droids On Roids is currently looking for an organized & dedicated specialist who will become a part of the Administration Team as an Accounting Specialist. We are looking for a person who, using their strong knowledge & broad experience, will manage different forms of financial accounts within our company.

Check this list to find out if we’re a match:

• 3+ years of experience as an Accounting Specialist
• Higher degree in the accounting/finance/economic field
• Solid knowledge and understanding of  Polish accounting principles, taxes, and current financial legislation
• Excellent knowledge of Google Suite apps (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets: fluency in Google Spreadsheets/Excel is a must, so you really need to like this tool and the possibilities it gives :))
• Up-to-date with the latest changes in regulations concerning financial accounts and other regulations of the field
• Outstanding organizational & analytical skills with great attention to detail
• Excellent ownership skills & ability to work independently and in cooperation with the team as well as external specialists (accounting office)
• Proactive, articulate & kind communication
• Openness to work from the office when needed (the possibility of working remotely up to 2 days a week)
• Fluent command of written and spoken Polish (at a native level) and English (at least B2 level)

Extra points for:

• Previous experience in an accounting office or in a software house
• Previous experience in working with MacOs, Slack, Jira, Miro
• Experience within IT industry

Your responsibilities:

• Cooperation with an external accounting office
• Being accountable for the month-closing process and ensuring timely bank payments (with cooperation with an external accounting office)
• Monitoring and management of our accounts and settlements (invoices, expenses)
• Coordinating the circulation of accounting documents and their formal control
• Assigning costs to specific departments of the company
• Being responsible for all the aspects of customer billing: payment control, soft debt collection, invoices management
• Keeping a record of IPBox and B+R
• Participating in the payment transactions processes (entering and making transfers)
• Coordinating settlements of outsourcing and partnerships’ cooperations
• Settlements of the commissions (employee’s recommendations, sales and projects related)
• Helping in optimizing accounting-related processes and procedures in our company
