The Finance and Administration Team is looking for a new talent to join! 

Droids On Roids is currently looking for an organised & detail-oriented specialist who will join our Finance and Administration Team as a Finance Operations Specialist.

We are looking for a person who will take ownership of day-to-day financial processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and smooth financial workflow across the company. You will support our organisation by managing sales and cost invoices, preparing payments, collaborating with our external accounting partners and keeping our financial operations running like a well-oiled machine.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in finance or accounting who enjoys improving processes, cares deeply about data quality, and has a proactive, improvement-oriented mindset 🧠

  • Requirements – we want you if you have:

    • At least 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting or other financial administrative roles,
    • Good understanding of accounting principles (invoices, payments, AP/AR),
    • Experience working with financial systems / ERP / workflow platforms and online banking,
    • Solid knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, filters, pivot tables),
    • Outstanding organizational & analytical skills with great attention to detail,
    • A proactive approach, strong ownership, a can-do attitude and willingness to improve processes,
    • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with external accounting partners and internal teams,
    • Openness to work from the office when needed (the possibility of working remotely up to 3 days a week),
    • Fluent command of written and spoken Polish (at a native level),
    • Ability to communicate confidently in English (min. B1 level).

     

  • Extra points for:

    • Previous experience in an IT environment,
    • Familiarity with automation tools or financial process digitalization,
    • Experience with budgeting or cost-control processes.

  • Your responsibilities:

    Daily finance operations

    • Issuing sales invoices according to internal procedures,
    • Monitoring payments and sending reminders when necessary,
    • Processing cost invoices, ensuring their accuracy and correct cost allocation,
    • Preparing and entering payments into the banking system,
    • Keeping financial workflows updated and aligned with changes in processes.

    Cooperation with accounting partners

    • Providing missing information and clarification to the external accounting office,
    • Supporting month-end closing by delivering correct data on time,
    • Ensuring smooth communication and alignment of financial data.

    Process improvement & optimisation

    • Identifying inefficiencies in financial workflows,
    • Proposing and implementing improvements or automation opportunities,
    • Supporting ad-hoc financial and operational tasks as needed.
